Outline and scope:

Literature used for the different presentations are up-to-date scientific reviews and articles which will be provided to the speakers.  Further autonomous literature search is expected.

Topics will include:  latest high-throughput sequencing technologies, the 1000 genomes project, online resources for genomics and metagenomics, metagenome projects and metagenome analysis.

Each speaker will hold a ~30' talk and present the relevant results to all participants. Additionally, a hand-out of approx. 15 pages must be prepared before the talk. All presentations will be given in English.
