Outline and scope:

 

We will read papers on reticulate evolution (involving recombination, horizontal gene transfer, hybridization) and on algorithms for computing networks for data arising through these types of evolution. Literature used for the different presentations are up-to-date scientific reviews and articles which will be provided to the speakers.  Further autonomous literature search is expected.

Each speaker will hold a ~45' talk and present the relevant results to all participants. Presentations can be given in German or in English.
