Conditions: Main study. Sound java programming experience required. Optionally the course will be held in English.
 
Description:
This practical course consists of small hands-on projects centered around a highly configurable viewing framework for biomolecular data that has been developed by our group. Focus of these projects is to get some more training regarding:
  • software engineering / software architecture
  • basic visualization concepts
  • software development in small teams
  • presentation of results
Students will have plenty of opportunities to bring in their ideas.

To get an idea, feel free to have a look at CGViz, the viewing framework mentioned above.
