If you want to use accession lookup tables (not necessary if blasting against NR or NT), then you will additionally require the following file: megan-lookup.zip

To update to the latest NCBI taxonomy, download the following file:

http://www-ab2.informatik.uni-tuebingen.de/megan/taxonomy/ncbi.zip

Updates of NCBI microbial attributes:

To update to the latest NCBI microbial attributes, download the following file:

http://www-ab2.informatik.uni-tuebingen.de/megan/taxonomy/microbialattributes.zip

In the installation directory of MEGAN, unzip these files in the class/resources/files

directory.
