CrossLink: visualization and exploration of sequence relationships between (micro) RNAs

Local Version (download)

 

To run CrossLink locally, you will need to have the following software installed on your system:

• NCBI BLAST
• Vmatch
• RNAhybrid
• A Java Runtime (JRE) 1.4.2 or higher

Then, download the following jar file for the CrossLink version of your choice:

• http://www-ab2.informatik.uni-tuebingen.de/webstart/crosslink/VERSION/crosslink_obf_signed_VERSION.jar

(Replace "VERSION" with a current CrossLink version, e.g. "1.2.6". Find a list of available versions here )

 

Finally,

• Start with: java -cp CLASSPATH x.CrossLink STANDALONE
• Have fun.

 

We run CrossLink on Linux and would strongly recommend a UNIX style OS

--- however, in principle CrossLink could run standalone on any operating system that supports NCBI BLAST, Vmatch, RNAhybrid and a Java Runtime.
